A Promise from God

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) I have been going through a tough period. Never sure of where I was headed, I often sunk to the depths of despair. But recently, I received a promise from God. And that is this verse. This is hope. And hope is what I'll cling to. For where there is hope, there is faith. And, even if my faith is like a child's, then I rather prefer this than darkness and despair. Thank You, Lord!

Freely you have received, freely give.

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. (Ephesians 4:11,12) It is amazing what all people are doing for the Lord. I have been using a software called e-Sword for the past one year and it has continued to overwhelm me with all its features and add-ons. I find it a must-have tool for every student of the Bible. My dad, who preaches very often, relies on it for his preparations. But what has amazed me even more is that this impressive software is completely free. There are other programs too. BiblePro is another similar offering. And it doesn't stop with software. There are free CD tracts, free bible study, free bibles etc. People everywhere are doing what they can, and how they can for God. It's not just about going to a Bible school, become a preacher and evangelize. Its doing what you can with
